Dresden – Prague – Dresden on bike in 9 days

I want to introduce you to a part of the Czech Republic that most tourists never experience.

Day One

We will greet you at the modern Dresden airport. By motor coach we will see the beautiful Bohemian (looks like Switzerland) Mountains and ride along the Elbe River to Prague. Here you will stay for the next two exciting days. Each day you will enjoy a half-day tour with your afternoons free to explore, shop, or relax.

Day 2

Prague Old Town, Charles Bridge, Jewish Town, free time in the afternoon, riverboot dinner on request.

Day 3

Prague Castle area and cathedral, free time on afternoon, dinner in Nebozizek Restaurant with fantastic view of the city on request.

Day 4 – (Our first bike day)

On this day our motor coach will také us out of Prague and we'll thrill to the countryside along the Moldau River. On bike we will reach the city of Melnik. We'll feast at the Lobkowicz family Castle – following a wine tasting and stay here over night.

Day 5

The next day we will go a bit away from the river through the Kokorin Valley to the city of Litomerice. After a relaxing dinner, we'll walk through the Old Town before turning in for the night.

Day 6

The next morning we'll bike to along the Elbe River to the border city of Hrensko located on the Czech/German border – Bohemian Switzerland after we have pased through Porta Bohemica. Before dinner we'll take a boat excursion through a charming valley.

Day 7

Today we will cross the German border into Konigstein and see the beautiful rock castle, Bastei, and see the Canaletto view of the city of Pirna, where we will after a nice evening walk stay over night.

Day 8

On our last bike day, we will cycle along the Elbe River to a unique chateau with a a baroque garden. Then we will bike past the Pilntz chateau and then over the Blue Wonder Bridge into Dresden. We will spend our last evening together.

Day 9

On our final morning, we'll explore Dresden with a visit to Our Lady Church, and see the chateau of Sans Souci. Later that afternoon you'll arrive at the airport and return home.
